The team behind Slick Casting all have many years of production and media experience from various fields such as TV, Film and Advertising.

Carla has gained a great reputation with industry contacts and she has worked with many well established Casting Directors, Producers, Production Managers and Assistant Directors and Directors in the UK. She has many years of production and casting experience and is known for working as a Assistant Director on productions such as Harry Potter, St Trinian’s, Adulthood, The Da Vinci Code, Sunshine, Gulliver’s Travels and as a Casting Producer for many well- known factual entertainment and reality shows broadcast on ITV to date.

Carla felt inspired to Start Slick Casting after experiencing as part of the production team, large workloads, particularly when it comes to casting and crowd management.  

Since 2016, Carla and her team have been “easing production’s pressures and budgets” by enabling them to “focus on being on the set while we take the scripts and schedules and focus on getting the crowd”, which sometimes comprises 100 people a day.  As well as leveraging its huge supporting artist database, Slick Casting also scouts for new candidates that fit specific briefs. This practice is called “street casting”, although very little of it takes place in the physical world nowadays. Featured casting and auditioning is a tailored service Slick Casting also offers for featured and walk-on roles, mainly for Commercial, PR and Corporate Clients.

Carla has Project Managed over 200 exciting productions via Slick Casting and offers tailored casting services to individual clients and on set help is available on request. 

Luke has a great eye for spotting and finding talent and with his casting experience and enthusiastic work ethic he is known for his reliable and successful street casting services, casting featured roles and character models and is always on the hunt to find new people and bring them to the spotlight.

The rest of the team behind Slick Casting is made up of experienced individuals who have worked on many productions and with our knowledge and experience within the industry we understand the importance of a professional and reliable service. We represent a variety of different artists from all different backgrounds that are unique and talented. Most importantly, we represent only carefully selected artists with a professional approach to the work, who are available at short notice and preferably with some form of theatrical, performing or media background.
