Pact/FAA rates for artists working in London

If you work as a supporting artist on a film or TV show in London, you’ll likely be paid according to the Pact/FAA agreement.

Different rates apply for day, night and shift work. You may also be entitled to supplementary fees and travel and meal allowances.

The below rates apply from January 1 to December 31, 2024.

*Payment for 15 minutes of overtime (see Clause 15 of the Pact/FAA Agreement). 

 

Supplementary fees

You may be asked to perform specific activities or bring particular clothing, for which you’ll receive a supplementary fee.

The following allowances cover you getting to and from the shoot.

Meal allowances

If food isn’t provided by the production, you’ll receive the following meal allowances in line with Clause 10.6 of the Pact/FAA agreement. Meal allowances are payable in accordance with HMRC guidelines and are subject to any amendments to those guidelines.

One or more of the following meal penalties might also apply under Clause 10 of the Pact/FAA agreement.

Pact/Equity rates for artists working outside London

 

If you work as a supporting artist on a film or TV show outside London, you’ll likely be paid according to the Pact/Equity agreement (“outside London” is anywhere outside a 40-mile radius of Charing Cross).

Different rates apply for day, night and shift work. You may also be entitled to supplementary fees and travel and meal allowances.

The below rates apply from January 1 to December 31, 2024.

*Negotiated but capped at the stated amount. **This uplift doesn’t apply to travel between 0-3.99 miles of the base/location.
